Local game servers

Is any one intrested in local fast game servers? I'm thinking of opening up to gamers and starting a local mesh of game servers.

How much wqould you want to pay though.
What pings do you expect? (Currently hoping for below 50ms)
What games do you want?

Yes .. sounds good
25 - 50ms is good 100 is to high

CS, StarC 2 when it is out, Soldat (2d shooter), Age of Empires latest maybe

you should name the price
 
R30 is alright

Fifa soccer .. Rugby 08, Some shooters, Big read one server !! would be lekker
 
i my garage :P No if it was to happen we would have to buy new servers and host them locally connected to a IS backbone.

R30? for monthly? One game? or any game available? Remember every game would need a new server. But every server could have up to 6 games playing simultaneously.
 
Well all the games I play have Local servers already and I don't have to pay... :)
 
R30 monthly for the service .. all games
Im not going to play all the games you offer (maybe i will)
but i only play one game at a time... and if i feel like playing a different game for 2 hourse i dont wan to have to pay for the month.

The servers will not be the same ones and if they are then there will be one more... and it will countinue , and not stop when the game dies down
If i pay .. i should buy software that connects me to your server,
im paying for a convenent server that is run well, (better than any other local 1) there should be paid admins (contact me if you need 1) to monitor chat and laggers and quiters and all.

Counter Strike has local .. just need the bought versoin

and GW problably.. the company host them

SGS curently has 92 servers from CSS to DODS, BF2, FEAR combat ET:QW, Wolf:ET Q1 Q2 Q3 & Q4 MAX, CoD2 and soon to be CoD4, S.T.A.L.K.E.R, Arma, AA, NWN 1/2 and mney others! even Warsow

IS & Gamezone are more with CSS, TF2 & Q3 CPMA

There is war3.co.za for DOTA
local WOW server floating around and all other MMO's are best played on int servers

Sorry, I am not slamming you, :D but I don't feel a need to pay to play games when there are perficaly fine Public servers here in SA :)

What about strat games, COH and now World in Conflict???
 
I'm with Glordit, what I do maybe suggest 3x-a-d3-u5 is that you contact SGS (the biggest and IMO the best) and maybe arrange something with them, you supply servers or copies of the games or something and they can advertise it for you, you know... EG: TF2 Server SPONSORED BY <Insert your name here>

I would love a few servers for C&C 3, World in Conflict and a few other games I can't think of now.

:D Clans do it they provide the service fee for thier own Clan server and SGS/IS/Gamezone will host for them eg: -=SGS |HDZ| CS:S Clan Server=-
