hi guys, well my account reset today, i thought i would download something this morning *thought i was still local only restricted*. It was around 400mbs, just out of curiosity, i clicked on the Telkominternet usage tracking tool, which stated that i have used 432.1192 MB of my Blended Usage for December, and to my surprise, it states 0 MB in my Local Usage for December! Should i stop downloading locally? Will this cause me to reach my cap?

BTW: the Telkominternet usage tracking tool had this written in red:

Please note: Local Bandwidth is in a testing phase and more details will be communicated at a later stage.

Please ignore usage that accrues on the Local Bandwidth tracking tool and will have no impact on your original blended threshold purchased.

anyone care to explain what that means?

thank you!

regards

LJR.

To reiterate, all bandwidth is blended until you are capped.

I bought a 3gb TI account this month. The objective is to quickly bomb out the 3gb on international downloads, and then use it as a local only account.

If a TI account is the only account you have, you are not going to benefit from free local access unless you get yourself capped. And a lot of people are not going to want to be capped, and be cut off from accessing international sites.

Exactly ;) I just don't have the money for an extra TI account, otherwise I'd do it too.

This is actually quite crap. It was be so nice if local didn't count towards blended from the start for XBox Live...

*sigh*

wait! i dont know what you mean with TI or w/e but i have 2 isp accounts? am i sorted?

saffakanera, TI is Telkom Internet.

Proff
