local traffic?

hello..

i have recently moved and will probably wait another gazillian years for my adsl line, so, in the meantime i am using iburst. i have noticed that they shape the crap out of p2p and torrents.

my question is, if i have for example a 3gb cap, does local traffic count? do they shape local traffic?

AFAIK all traffic over Iburts network is "seen" the same.

well.. at least i have a way around the shaping problem... my cap is still gonna get chewed.

Some posts contained stuff about downloading past the capped. I can't remember...

Well inter-iBurst local isn't shaped after cap at least. Not much to do with it except the hub and getting a random iBurst user on a torent.. it happened to me before
