Local WoW Servers - mods make sticky

I agree with PsyWolf, I would rather pay my R120 pm or whatever it works out to... that's less than even the lightest of nights out. You don't even notice spending that amount of cash in a month, it's 10 litres of petrol in a month. Peanuts.

And for that R120 I get guaranteed satisfaction, 99%+ uptime, no bugs, 15000 players to play with per "full" server, trained and paid for GM assistance, no worries about months or years of work on a character being deleted etc etc etc.

So besides the R120 which is worth every cent for what I'm getting, the only disadvantage is latency... and honestly even that is getting better, I am getting 250 - 300ms. Consistent. So official wins my money.

me and my gf just trimmed one evening out less and that pays for our mmo subs.

If you are able to afford SAs ridiculous broadband costs, surely you can afford wows subscription.
Surely emus are full of kids whos parents refuse to give their delinquents their Credit cards ;p

That's what gamecards are for. That's if kids could be assed to spend some of their allowance on gametime.

And as soon as my stock arrives I'll sell EU for R267. And you get the scanned copy of the card, not just a code :)

i played official for like 4 yrs. gave up on the game and now i wanted to try it again, so i decided to go play on the local server. 30 min of playing and im lvl 16 still with the bow u get when u start because i dont have enough money to train/buy stuff.... a load of bs lol what a waste of time

dude we need another one as to give people a choice or do you think monopoly on something is the way to go? A better faster server means we can get international as well as local players to play. The other Big sa server deleted everyone's account. A reliable Gm there told me the reason was because of the increased latency because of hundreds of people raiding. Allot of people are unhappy that months of hard work leveling character just go deleted. What is the point of playing wow if you cant even enjoy the funnest part the end game because of high latency?
that is what i want to say .good point

TO the so called GM's that deleted everybody's accounts, good on you. As to hundreds op players raiding, maybe the 20 people on the horde side all logged in at the same time and the server crashed. Welcome to EMU servers, I hope you enjoy your stay.

google wow-scape, be amazed. 20k people on 4 servers 24/7.

Blizzard tried to sue them, case was thrown out, why i do not know. But ya, thats america for you.

It's easy to explain why there are so many diff servers. people simply can't get along!

Take for instance SArealm, well scripted, nice uptime support seems in place. Avg amount of players being the only upside.

Now here comes therealm: bunch of 16yr olds that downloaded the arc package, click run *yaay it works* and then problems occur... oh no! we don't know **** and its all falling apart! and don't even mention the mismanage of the previous machine that allegedly died due to overheating hardware... so we all donate and get 1337 spectral tigers. Everyone has to start at lvl 1 while the GMs and friends all get their gear and lvls restored... if you have ever played here you will see how quickly people get kicked for simply asking questions, bunch of power horney kids!
If anyone there had any idea of what they were doing it would all run smoothly!

TheRealm: pressing a fist against anyone who thinks something compelling.

Playing on a illegal EMu server is like sleeping with your sister. Sure all the right bits are there but it just isn't right.

lol, what can I say. Madiba was on the news when I created my lock and Minkie was inspired by a FHM desk calendar.

I got rid of my other characters called desk, monitor, mouse, keyboard and chair.

Nope, he is a nice orc green with a white mohawk. At least I got hair color right.

In wow we play a game called spot the saffer, it's easy with toons named like Madiba

Look for BobMugabe in the armory, there is about 4, we have 1 in our guild along with a Jakopzuma, Shabeersheik, Absa, StandardBank and Grootgat

There is even a Zanu-PF guild on one of the EU servers

I used to have a bank char called trevormanual but after a interest rate hike nobody wanted to buy from me.

We also have a few names that could only be South African. Boerewors, Moersleutel, Bliksem, Matraskop, Zonkienuts ens.
