Are you sure? I'm pretty sure the original run for these was 2009-2014/15, did they have a second run?
Your box has a "works with windows side show" which is what they used to put on boxes for Windows Vista/early W7. I'd guess yours to be more like near the 10 year marker, and usually membrane keyboards start giving up at that age.

I'm only calling you out on it because there's no way it's just "2+" and that's misleading. My friend had one of these back in ~2011 or so.

There were a lot of brand new ones still chilling at the distributers in the past few years, they didn't end in 2015.

I've had two. Bought the first one in 2012. Was still going fine 6 years later when I replaced it with a brand new one on 2 August 2018 for aesthetic reasons.
