Anyone have one? I can't get this thing to work.

Set up my devices etc, set up the DSTV but so far all I can achieve is switching the TV on and off.

It wont change DSTV channels. WTF am I doing wrong? Ready to smash this thing against the wall.

Are you using the Logitech software to set it up?
It has hundreds of devices on its database.

Got a 650. Only problem I've had is Logitech's crappy software. Make sure you've setup your activities properly. Don't bother with the Silverlight app, download the proper app that you install. Current version is 7.70 and can be downloaded from Logitech site. Provides many more options than the Silverlight app but still ridiculously slow.

Play around with different dstv decoder models when setting up remote. Set mine up to work perfectly before multichoice decoders got a firmware upgrade a few months back, and after the upgrade I couldn't change channels. I set it up to totally different model of dstv decoder and its still working great

Yes, using the online app.

Thanks for the heads up! Hate the Silverlight app, painfully slow and annoying! Downloading now! Shot.

Cool I will try that, thanks!

OK finally got everything working.

The Silvelight and desktop app are 2 different animals.

Personally I found the Silverlight online app way easier. The desktop app gets a little complicated.

Anyway I managed to find the issue was that I needed to specify the DSTV decoder as HD PVR without anything else and it worked.

Are the batteries in?

But seriously, without providing information about your problem, how do you think people are supposed to help you?

LOL yes they are. Apologies that was a vent post, bit useless tbh. I have managed to get my DSTV HD to work had to programme every button individually. Now its still my PS3 that I need to get working.

The PS 3 doesn't have an infrared receiver built in. You'll either have to buy the Logitech one (which costs significantly more than the remote), or activate HDMI-CEC if your TV/receiver supports it and the console is connected by HDMI

Yeah PS3 won't work with the remote. It's not a Bluetooth remote.

I have the logitech ps3 adapter. Harmony remote with adapter works well but not quite as good as Sony ps3 bluray remote. Definitely usable though with only real problem being that the action buttons (square, triangle etc) get mapped to buttons next to the LCD, not equivalent dedicated buttons but can map them to something else if you want. Replaced my Sony bluray remote with logitech adapter due to the Sony's technical incompatibilities with my console.

By the way, very weird you had to program all the buttons manually, only ones I had to were arc, dmx, alt and language. If you put in the pace model number, most functions should be there automatically, was for me at least. Unless your decoder is uec, no idea there.
