So I bought a razer lycosa keyboard this week and so far I'm very impressed, biggest notable difference vs the logitech the keys dont stick i am refering to a G11 wich i used to use, its not mechanical but it feels pretty good, would be nice to have some sort of a indicator on the keys for touch typing. Which the logitech did have.all in all i reckon a good mid level keyboard.

edit: I think I'm over my logitech addiction.

Give it a few months then come back and say that you are still happy with it. :) I see loads of people hating their Lycosa's, imho going from a G11 to a Lycosa is a downgrade, I used to have a G11 and only problem I had with it was the left shift key had to be pressed from the left else it would offer huge resistance, this was most likely due to heavy usage. But if you are happy with it then good for you, I hope you did your research first before getting it.

Well he has used both so i am sure he can tell which is better in his opinion.

I have a lycosa but i use it for my office pc now, just could not replace my g15. This thing is like 4 years old and the keys are still 100% and i use the same keys very very often, so unless logitechs build quality has gone down i am surprised to hear about the g11.

I went the Lycosa option. Typing on it is truly lovely, but gaming on it has it's... disadvantages... Sometimes the touch pad goes crazy, and there's ghosting on the keys.

Funny you bring up the Lycosa - it's possibly Razer's highest failure rate product.

Why the Lycosa feels better is probably because it's using scissor switch keys, and I presume the Logitech uses rubber dome which gives that mushy feel after a while.

It's not a bad keyboard, suits those looking for flat keys etc.

For me, Logitech quality/warranty/service is tops though...

I've used too much Logitech over the last 8years. Still, doesn't seem like enough though. :P
I really do love Logitech products.
One thing I know Razer is definately brilliant at, is them mouse pads. Been using those for about 5years now.

I HATE them for the Razer Xbox controller I bought at Zaps. Damn thing was like R100 more expensive than the stock controller and it didn't last 3 games (a friends of mine also had the same one, only lasted two or three games).

Let me know a month from now if ure lycosa is still working. U would be the first person who had one that lasted more than a few weeks. Mine lasted 3 weeks before the keys stopped working properly
