Hi guys

any hav these speakers are they any good ie sound from pc, dvd player xbox ect??? i dont hav enough cash for the z5500. any other one or brands that are any good, please give examples so that i can google them.

I think he's only got it connected to his computer, but from what he's told me the volume is plentiful, it's just a bit bass-heavy...

Much more expensive for starters. And designed completely to be used with a PC. Though I'm sure it will work with others...

Resurrecting an old topic but info might be useful for some people who search for info (amazing how many answers one finds in MyBroadband forums when doing a global Google search).

I bought myself the Logitech X-540 yesterday and I'm really impressed!
Quality wise the only thing I can criticise is the cheap feel of the buttons on the controller.
The speaker cables are thick, decent quality unlike those cheap Sumsung and LG home theatre cables that use that thin, twin flex rubbish.
I thought 70 Watts RMS wouldn't be very loud but in a small room the bass is loud and deep enough to make things shake in the room. If you live in a complex it would be enough to annoy the neighbours.

I would have prefered the Logitech G51 but it's more than double the price.
The X-540 is definitely value for money (< R900).
