Logitech z5500 vs z5400

Hi,
Don't waste your money on that rubbish. I have a set of the Z5500s and the sound is really bad. I also have the Creative S750s and they blow the Logitechs out of the water! Seriously consider spending the extra money to get the Creatives rather. I really regret wasting my money on the Logitechs.

I have Logitech Z5500 with a Creative Audigy Pro 4 sound card and it's awesome!

lol are u crazy?? i z5500's are one of the best sets of speakers u can invest in! I have a pair as well, and I, as well as every other review site would agree that these speakers kicks a$$!

I can barely turn these things up half way would at least something in my room rattling :D

Go for the z5500, u would never go wrong with them :D

Valis could be referring to sound quality.

For the price of the z5500 I'll rather by a proper set of floor standing Home Theater speakers and DTS amplifier.

hi-fi corp has some decent speaker sets with amplifier :o

But if you want all the inputs I'm not really sure.

Hi guys

is it worth laying out the extra cash for the z5500 speakers when the only difference (i can find) is the watt's, or are their specs that im missing??? i dont mind the lower watts as room il be using it in is small, please advise???

Just looking at the specs, it seems the 5400 doesn't have all of the Dolby stuff...

Do you really want to purchase something quality wise there...???

I have a set of Logitech Z2300 and I can tell you, Logitech is by far the best speakers for PC's that you can purchase. For real pumping bass and superb sound quality, the Logitech's would be by far the best systems to buy... I had Creative once before, which is also great, but priced to high compared to the Logitechs.

Logitech makes great speakers! :D before mine got stolen :mad: I could put the volume on max and not have one problem!

Otherwise I prefere Earphones :)

hi-fi corp are never my first choice with anything... but speaker wise they do stock some good models, I'm just a little thrifty when it comes to speakers :o

My room is small so I went for 5400 instead of the 5500 ones.
They are more than loud enough for my room which is 3M X 3M.
I have no issues whatsoever, they are excellent.
5400 = 310 watts rms
5500 = 505 watts rms.

yeah I would go for the 5400 too... unless you plan to do some clubbing/parties with your setup then go for 5500.
