LOL @ FNB, Epic fail

So I decide to see what the deal is with FNB and what they can offer me. I start the online application , and it kicks me out with "A Discrepancy was found, a consultant will phone you". This lady phones and informs me that I cant open a cheque account with FNB as I have had an account with FNB that had problems on. I havent had a FNB account for over 22 years.

They can go smoke my socks.

I had a cheque account with them and closed that when I bought my house through Std Bank and they insisted that I open my account with them.

A Discrepancy

I am with FNB. I had same when I opened my account ..... Turns out that it was a bank manager who was retiring and made some stoopid comment on my profile on an account I had 20 years before.

A quick discussion with someone at head office cleared that up. Big sorry sah ... frm some rsole at FNB and that was that.

Banking is a consumer choice, tell them to get stooffed and troll their FB page - RB Jacobs can field the fall out.

You know what, if my relationship with them is going to start out like that, at application time, i'm not interested in what they offer.
