Lonehill - Telkom ADSL intermittent access

Anybody else here in the Lonehill area with intermittment ADSL access, works for like 20 minutes and then drops for a minute.

I use VOIP phones for my busines, and its causing chaos.

Have logged daily calls with 10210, am tired of being told that my call has been escalated and that a technician has been assigned.

Going to jump into my car and drive around to see if there is a Telkom technican in the area

Well this is interesting, i suffered so many sync problems i decided to kill ADSL and get a replacement internet connection. we now have a primary and a backup connection but they are not much better.

Did you ever reach a solution, i was told the ADSL exchange is in Fourways 6 and this is why we have so many issues in Lonehill.


Also, whoever installed your voip should have told you that over ADSL dont expect it to be a Telkom Replacement.
