Look inside Huawei 220 USB Modem

For those of you that may be interested I have put some pictures of a Huawei 220 USB Modem online.

I am sorry the pictures aren't brilliant, but I came down one morning to find my modem had fallen off the sticky tape attaching it to the window. As it fell and hit my desk the case had cracked open. It wasn't completely open so I pried it apart, breaking a part of the case that is attached underneath the silver label, I think it may be a torx screw. Thankfully it still works and the case is fine.

Anyway whilst it was open I quickly took some shots, as I was keen to put it back and see if it still worked.

I think form the pictures you will notice the modem has and internal antenna port, but I am just guessing. I hope you find them useful.

I guess the lesson is not to use sticky tape to attach you're modem to a window.

Someone should design a little sucker cup thingy ........ sure you could source a donor item from the R5 store .......

Yeah, use duct tape - anything can be fixed with enough duct tape....

No Vodacom modems are locked.
