Looking for a cheap Tablet

As the heading say, I'm looking for a cheap tablet that runs the android operating system. A 7" screen will do. The reason I want to get a cheap tablet is because my wife is all over my tablet (S7) and can't leave it alone.

The tablet must be able to download apps from the play store, must have wi-fi and if possible make phone calls. I will consider 2nd hand tablets as well if the price is right.

Pm me if you have one for sale at a reasonable price (R1000.00 or lower) in a good working condition. I'm in the east rand.

Check any cheap tables carefully

Is the touch screen responsive
Can you connect to the Android Play Store (some tablets are restricted)
Does the SD card slot work
Can you connect any external devices via USB
Is the wi-fi range reasonable
How long does the battery last
Is there a guarantee, if so are there any restrictions like you paying for the shipping back to China

Very few make phone calls, unless you use Skype

Hifi corp has a 7" Sansui for R1000- Android 4, wifi, playstore. The screen seem pretty responsive from playing with the demo model in store.

Ainol novo Aurora 2 is a great tablet. it has ips screen display. though mostly made of cheap plastic.
