Looking for a New Graphics Card

Got a friend who is in the market for a new graphics card.

His max budget is R1500 and he currently has a dying 9600GT.

At the moment I am looking at the following two graphics cards:

Gainward nVidia GeForce GTX550Ti Golden Sample - 1GB GDDR5, 192 [4260183362043]Tatry - R1,486.00
GIGABYTE GV-R777OC-1GD, HD7770 - R1,483

Which one of the two would you recommend, or would you recommend something else?

Didn't expect him to decide on one, what I have done though is emailed NGR for the 7770. Since it does seem better. Thanks for the advice.

NGR Computers matched the price for me, so my friend will be getting the GIGABYTE GV-R777OC-1GD, HD7770.
