Hi guys,

Do a couple sports..Kendo, soccer and some running but need a sport that can help me tone up without going to the gym :p
It would also help if the sport would help increase my reflexes.

Suggestions?

Badminton is great for reflex as well as sprinting a lot. Will get you fit.

Cycling is good, dodging taxis or rampaging buck keeps your reflexes sharp.

What sport is good for people with dodgy knees? (sorry to borrow a thread)

Using a stationary exercise bike is often used for knee rehabilitation.

If you do road cycling there is also very little impact on your knees, less than walking i'm told.

How about archery? Its an amazing sport and can be very fun!!! If you go to a SABA event you might have to walk a lot but I dont think that would kill your knees :)

Enquired about this but didn't get very far as no one in JHB was able to give me any actual info on where to go, equipment etc. Got links?

I saw a field in the South. Near Meyerton on R59 I think.

Thought about Archery myself but with my coordination being more dodgy than my knees, I doubt I could walk away with my head held high :)

Will look into squash, MMA :erm: not looking to get beaten up :D

If you need any advice on squash let me know, i absolutely love the sport and would like as many people to play it as possible

Will look into it Arrow has inspired me :D, always saw squash as a private club. Will look around for that aswell.
