Looking for a Socket 462 CPU

Sorry if this comes across as advertising of any kind, just not sure where else to ask.

I have blown my Socket 462 Athlon that I am using for my MythTV box. But now I have approached the Rectron's, Pinnacle's and Esquire's of the world and they have just stopped stocking the last Sempron that uses Socket 462.

So please, if anyone has or knows where I can get a Socket 462 processor, please let me know. Preferably above 1.5ghz. Thanks so much.

You mention a few of the disties out there, but not Corex: if you didn't try them, call them and ask about their 'auction' stuff ..I know for a fact that they've got this era motherboards (in AMD & ChipZilla) as well as all sorts of other funky stuff so there's a particularly good chance they will have a chip.

Hey you can buy mine? Ive got a 2100+ (1.8GHZ) Socket A chip that is going into the bin after I upgrade in a few weeks. Im in Cape Town.

Otherwise the Cape Ads or what ever the equivilent is where you live should have a few cheap.

I dont know, how much should these things go for? R250 or so.

But the thing is that Ive got it with a board and in a case etc, so I might sell it as a whole box system with my old graphics card and HDD.. so I dont think I'll want to sell it on its own anymore. It was going to just be my board and chip then I would have sold it to you.. unless you want the whole box its a bit of a waste selling the chip now.
