Looking for Dust/Fan Filters

This one http://titan-ice.co.za/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=24_217&products_id=2764 kondensatory is no good, I need to screw the filter between two 120mm fans, and the holes in the corners on these don't look like I will be able to do that, I have two 120mm fans on my side panel I want to screw a filter between the side panel and the fan, I don't think I can do it with those...

I like the DemciFlex ones but I'm not too sure about it using magnets hmmm, thanks for your help

EDIT: Stupid iBurst, I just saw now that my Interwebz died, and someone already mentioned the Demci stuff. But the magnets are not a problem, it probably makes life easier too.

you're in luck!

A1 Radio - Umgeni Road

They have different sizes - 120mm is around R25. Filter is fully washable and re-usable. Give them a call first, if they don't have stock, they will order 'em for you.

Edit: By the way, they stock the exact one from the pic you supplied. Just had a look at my pc and it is that exact one.

I agree, A1 radio would be the best place to look. I get all my fan filters from them, you can't go wrong with them.
 
My advice to you:

Skip the fan filters, they don't work. I've done it before, you still get dust in the system and worst of all they clog up (so I had to clean them constantly yet the case was still dusty inside). Doesn't take long either. Not to mention that your fan will draw in less air and becomes more noisy (yep, people on SilentPCReview have actually done a double blind test and found fans with filters on to be more noisy).

Unless you are in a workshop with LOTS of very fine dust (like brick dust) or metal/wooden shavings, I'd say it is a complete waste of time.

Btw. my own tests I tried both a bought filter and stockings. Both sucked :p

Clean dry compressed air with variable nozzle attachment outside, works best. Remember to secure fans though.

I bought an air blower about 5 years ago.

Best thing in the world for blowing out pc's, has a filter on the end so you don't suck rubbish through into the pc, is easily stored, portable and easy to use in just about any situation, does not collect moisture like compressors do so is easier and cheaper to use anywhere you need to blow dust out (used on my car, tv, amp, pc and various other things).

They cost around R200 to R400.

Just ensure that the fans don't spin (like kayvee said) if you're using a high velocity air blower like the one AstroTurf mentioned, otherwise you'll damage the bearings of the fan + you might damage the components that the fan is connected to.
