Somewhere far far away.
Can anyone suggest a new ISP.

Currently running Plugg Uncapped for the last 2 Years and 11 months.
But lately this star rating is driving me nuts.During business hours unable to browse at all,
no websites loading.

I can queue up NZB's and torrents with another account and switch back to my uncapped Plugg account
and they fly down. But browsing is completely dead, not even google opens.

I want to switch over to capped account with about 100GB - 120GB data. Would prefer to stay with IS based ISP, but SAIX would also be ok.

Do not want Afrihost or Axxess. I'm not in the mood for MTN based account.

Both Afrihost and Axxess have moved from using MTN for their ADSL accounts. Their new network seems to be working pretty well, for now at least.

don't listen to this guy... wait till afrihost move axxess onto the new network and the congestion hits again

Go for Crystal Web. I don't think you can really get better (performance-wise). Just do not go with OpenWeb, please.

I'm having the same problem and I'm with Afrihost. I'm looking for more of a budget package. 2Mb line, willing to pay bout R300 ... Any suggestions???

Snap to the op I'm on telkom uncapped 4mb and use 60-80g on average.

Looks like vox or crystal web capped so far?

Please don't make the mistake of getting a CW Business account for home use.
Business != high usage. Business = prioritisation of business related stuff.

Morning, why not give MWEB a go then.

Try the 7 Day Free trial and decide for yourself ;)

If your line speed is 10mb or less and you use the majority of your data when you home from work and on weekends, then Vox's fatpipe lite + bolt-on is for you!

25gigs of data to use between 6am-6pm on weekdays and bolt-on, which is essentially an uncapped, unshaped internet, to use between 6pm and 6am week days and from 6pm Friday night to 6am Monday morning.

Total cost R148 per month (line rental exlcuded)

Order bolt-on telephonically or via email.

Honestly you have 2 options: Crystal Web or Vox.

The others don't even come close. Axxess winning "ISP Of The Year" was complete BS.

I use CW currently and it's very good. Vox has roll over on capped though, so that's something to think about.

Yeah, CrystalWeb or Vox is pretty much where it is at the moment. Stay away from OpenWeb and avoid Mweb. If you're wanting to go with a larger ISP, Web Africa.
