Looking for old animated TV series

Hi, I'm looking for an old animated TV series that aired here in the early 90s. Here is a link to a video of the intro, but it's in another language. The one that I saw was in Afrikaans.

Does anyone know where I could find the Afrikaans version of this?

I can't seem to find anything in that list. Strange.

I guess the only way is to contact the SABC and find out if they still have it somewhere.

The series had several different titles in different countries. The most prominent English title seems to be: "Jackie and Jill - the bear children of the mountain Tarak" , based on a book titled "Monarch: The big bear of Tallac", by Ernest Thompson.

It was produced by Japan's Nippon animation studios in 1977. They were responsible for several animated programs that were aired in SA during that time.

So far it looks like this series is only available in French on DVD, but will keep digging.
