Hello

If i want to use my second string MPPT. Rule of thumb.
Does it need to be the same panels which i have currently installed.

Looking for Mono panels snag 1.7m long. it has to do with roof space.
Current ones are JA 455W panels don't know which model. Panel length 2.1m.

Were to buy. Power forum does not mention panel sizes.
Anybody else don't want to fall into scammers trap.

Looking for solar panels to buy 6 off.

There's no need for the panels to be the same across the two MPPTs, as long as each string is within spec of the mppt. Panel sizes can be viewed on the data sheets. I bought from Solarway suppliers as they were comfortably the best priced on the panels I was looking at.

Placed order today my 12 panels with Solar Supplies. ( CANADIAN SOLAR 545W PANEL)
House project.

SA manufactured, made in Durban.

Shipping to Joburg/CPT pretty reasonable (My last pallet was R1000 or so)

Stupid question, if I may, is there a solar how-to thread around these parts?
