Looking for Sandisk Extreme II SSD

I've been tasked with research and purchase of a high performance and reliable SSD for developers' laptops.

We've had a recent spell of crashes in our current brand of SSD's, so with a vast amount of research I landed up and preferring the Sandisk Extreme II.

Unfortunately, a lot of the suppliers I've looked at have no stock of it - and the one I did try buy from had to refund our money. Is there any reliable store that has stock of the Sandisk Extreme II which I can purchase?


Any comments or insight in why I shouldn't get this specific SSD is welcome.

I forgot to mention I'm looking for a 240(ish)GB SSD

Also - I'm looking for the maximum possible IOPS (Random read / write) - sequential means very little in the development environment. The Sandisk offers what I'm after.

Update: Seems like the http://www.wootware.co.za/intel-ssd-530-series-240gb-2-5-sata-6gb-s-mlc-ssd.html is pretty much up there - with 41k/80k read/write IOPS

Look at the new Crucial range.
Has a lot of 'enterprise' features.
I believe the 512gb is going for 3k at Rebel RebelTech.

85k IOP if I'm not mistaken...
