Hi all

Okay so its that time of the year again - where I have to hold my breath just to button up my pants. So I am looking to buy a rowing machine with which to reduce my waste line(best case) or increase my lung capacity so that I dont pass out half way to the car(worst case).

I however have no idea what makes and price ranges I should look for to get a decent quality one. Also I am a bit lost as to where to start looking.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Don't know if you've seen them - but the water makes it sound like you're in water :p you can also hook it up to a PC and race friends :p\

never seen em before...doing some looking into it. I like the fact you can track stats etc.
Rowing seems to put me in such a cool rhythm compared to other exercise. The water sound will just make it that much better..

time to convince the g/f that this is way more important than saving for kids

After swimming, I'd go for rowing :) Stuffed my arm up just before Christmas... so stuck on a stationary cycle at the moment, not looking forward to this afternoon, 40min in 36 degrees :(

Here's the online thing: http://www.waterrower.biz/en/accessories_netathalon.htm

Those pics dont look to great ;) would prob zone out on the machine anyways!

Yeah, i used to enjoy windtraining a fair amount on the bike (until it bent the frame of my bike), had to stick a fan on me permanently in summer though.
all this talk of exercise is making me feel guilty for sitting here doing squat

Ya.... I just like the idea of competition... so much easier to train when you beating a real person :p Graphics are a bit off.

I've already done weights this morning at 5am... and then cycling this evening... so not feeling too guilty :D
