Looking to jump platform.

After various virus attacks that may or may not be legitimate as false positives is a reality for all of us that our computers are an important part of our lives and for some of us our livelihood.
I see it as a user error. But if you can afford the apple life style, go for it.

kind of yes and no. I enrolled in online classes and I take it very seriously. My pen testing, my programming and my 3D model-making are very important to me. I also did A+ N+ and other courses with comptia.org Planning on Java next. and also my GED to fill my high school requirements.

Please understand I am not saying this to impress you or make you feel sorry for me. No, I am just showing I am committed and take my life seriously.
Okay, now you're planning on Java next but you've previously stated you've done a year and a half course already... Hmm...

Its going to be a steep learning curve

I would suggest running it in a virtual machine on your current setup and slowly start to learn it and migrate.

If you then prefer it, you can jump ship completely with some experience.

No, it is factual McAfee found something. No tinfoil hat. It was in Firefox. Firefox is mostly just for emails I keep it separate from my Brave browser.

I might just use brave from now on I am thinking to dump Chrome, Edge and Firefox.
You know what would be extremely helpful and also answer your very own questions

Looking at what your finding and where the av has found it.

Then you'll know what it is, and where it comes from.

I am looking to jump ship to Apple. I know nothing of the platform the OS and its abilities. I only know what YouTube is willing to publish and that is not much when it comes to real functionality for someone like myself that is a total and complete noob with Apple.

I know there is an apple tax but I don't know if it is once-off or monthly.

Tools I work with:
Android Studio,
Unreal 5
Unity
blender
Visual studio.

These tools are connected to my primary income as I do projects for private clients. Can I work with all of these pieces of software on a Mac?
i use both ,windows and apple ,once you used to apple its fine ,but its a learning curve ,my tablets are apple as well but i still prefer windows .i use Sophos for security and have never had an issue yet

Now I'm confused if you change to a new OS you won't be able to use your printer, audio equipment etc.

So you will need a second computer.

....if you run a second computer you can install the computer properly with windows without having to use DVDs. Like have a m.2 ssd running your os and and another drive with all your kak on it. You can even encrypt the drive so nothing can go onto the drive untill you unlock it.

Seriously do a fresh install with updated software only from legit websites don't use your old anything. Stay off of Tor if you don't know wtf you are doing there.

You are a pentesters wet dream because from what you have said it will be super easy to compromise your everything.

....if you go linux please install timeshift so when you infect your pc you can restore. I wouldn't recommend linux for game dev but the crazies I work with probably spend 13 hours getting stuff like this working for no reason.

You can get the best of linux and windows with wsl for windows

...if you go mac beware of the learning curve it's takes a long time to be efficient on a Mac.

Wait wait let me make it worse. Somewhere in a box I have a ****en lightscribe writer. XD

I’ll lightscribe some furry art on the top gun movie and post it to you.

Perfect thanks, just sent it to the usual location. I’ll have my people pick it up.

Maybe if you throw in a TV Bar, haven’t had one in years.
