Looking to upgrade!

New year and maybe new speed! Lol

Im currently with Telkom on the R585 2mb simple uncapped. I would like to stream kodi etc but with at least 4mb or 10mb speed because 2mb isnt that great. Id like to stay with Telkom because im given the line rental, adsl line and free 7-7 calls included ... I feel that if i move to another ISP i wont get these benefits. Price im looking to pay in total is R600-R800
Any good deals now and advice is appreciated.
Must be Uncapped as well.

Hi yes 4mb is ok for kodi, there is a promotion that capped data is doubled on Telkom and you can use it on the tekom LTE as well this is what i am currently doing and it works great, not sure if you are in the LTE telkom coverage area, Kodi setup correctly is really awesome.
 
best is then to go to telkom and see if they can upgrade your line to 4meg, i find that if you find a helpful person in store things happens very easy, they will also advise you of specials etc. maybe also check your line stats and make sure that you are in fact able to upgrade your line otherwise you will need to look at their wireless deals

So do it.

Call 10210 and tell them you want to upgrade to 4Meg. Will take a few min then it's done.

Really? I applied for an upgrade to an 8mbps line from 4, and was told anywhere between 3 and 7 days. Very frustrating
 
Yeah but can't seem to find any prices that are reasonable. I see they done away with the "simple uncapped packages "

Did you call 10210? It's only around R200 more expensive to go from 2meg uncapped, to 4meg uncapped.

No I haven't cause of been on holiday, so R800 for 4mb speed which Includes what I have now such as adsl line + Landline and free 7-7? Calls??

I would love 10mb but I'm guessing over R1000 or so a month.
 
I'll phone when I get home, do keep the suggestions coming :D
