Loot drama.

I finally saw the bow drop on my 20th Jindo kill in ZG last night. So offcoarse the warrior rolls need and wins. I ask him why, as the better option for him would be ZA quest reward, which you would be able to get with your first run of ZA. The ZA bow has got Str and Exp. (its the one I currently use).

Everyone in the group agrees. Warrior says he is going to use if for RP. Puts it in trade with me, but doesn't click the trade button on his side. He then responds in Party chat, "I just love the puppy tears" and drops group.

So I have other options for upgrades I know, but thats no really the point here.

So have anybody else had any loot drama lately?
 
Not really loot drama. After a while you accept there are kids who dont get any attention and like acting like idiots. and u get over it an stop caring. it happens. it wont stop. its stupid on there behalf. i know.
 
not lately, but in t11 there is only one (1) feral weapon available, saw it drop only once in 6months, and lost the roll to a ****ing huntard, who then proceeded to raid with us one more time, before disappearing off the scene. and Im now still sitting with the ilvl 346 polearm because the weapon off the last boss in zg refuses to drop, and this is going into firelands. not so much drama as being thoroughly pissed off

Trust me I am over it.

It's kind of like you need to be reminded that there is a lot of idiots in the world and the internet is no different.
 
Oh the joy of rng loot and then when that item you have been waiting for drops some idiot takes it ...yeh been there way too many times. I feel for you m8. I have spent so much time on waiting for an item and then end up never getting it. If you have mega gold you could always buy the one from FL trash its only 45k gold on our server rofl....
 
I hope you reported the guy, a GM may not see it your way and give you the bow instead, but he will hopefully get a 24-48 hour ban, saving someone else from their douchebaggery

Our only feral got it in the 1st week of 4.2, I was a little bit jealous, but happy for him. He looks awesome in combat, and every time as a joke when we do the Domo trash, some1 marks him with a skull to confuse the other dps.

It is not against any rules to ninja loot. Blizz does not get involved with these disputes. I have had it happened to me twice and that was the response I had after reporting it. I do not partake in PUGs anymore (have done the minimum of Cata heroics, part from the once of runs with guild members).

BTW is the hunter PVP bow not better than the ZG one? And a lot easier to get?

Not sure which is better. You need to farm at least 7000 odd honor in current season to qualify to buy PVP weap iirc. Running 20 ZG or farming 7000 honor as alliance?

Anyway, the bow actually dropped on my very next ZG run. It was never really about the loot, just the frustration of dealing for random idiots online.

I think blizzard stance is, if you are allowed to need, the you can need. I never reported it as there was no point really.
 
Yes I think Blizz actual ruling is that they created other loot options than need/greed roles to avoid these types of fights. If need/geed was used to determine loot they will not interfere. BTW that includes plate users roling on cloth and the other way around. When I lost out last and reported it, a warrior have won a caster staff I wanted on my mage.

As for the 7000 Honor as alliance ;) I am alliance and are all to aware of the difficulty of alliance winning BG's, but there is always the AV exception. I made about 5000 during the AV weekend just after the patch. With really not that many games/ time spend. Isle of conquest weekend also favour alliance wins.
 
In Wrath days, there was a ninja looter on our realm. He had just transferred in and interestingly he had the Ashes of A'lar phoenix mount. As rumour has it, he ninja'd it in a raid and then transfered to our realm to avoid the scolding.

Anyway, we did a OS10 3-drake run @ lvl80 when it was still reasonably difficult. He raid-led (+ masterlooter) and when we downed it, he assigned the black drake to himself.

I informed my guild and eventually it came out recently that the same douche raided with members of my guild in a BH pug and when loot dropped that he qualified for they kicked him from the raid. ^_^
 
Long ago we had a person need the rare mount in Utgarde Pinnacle yet they never had the skill to use the dragon.

Was the first and last time I saw it
