From what I heard, most girls go for these "tough guys" because they have a lot of self esteem.

I once went out with a girl that moved from Stilfontein, to Johannesburg, her ex boyfriend (steroid freak ) called her that day while I was there and when he heard she was with me, he told her he is gonne commit suicide. My mate took the phone and told the guy to use Grandpa's they are addictive :D

I kind of agree of this.

I chased after one girl for weeks doing everything in my power to be with her and was constantly rejected. After 8 weeks I decided to forget her and concerntrate on my own life.

Guess what? Within a few days we were together :)

Lol thats also true, maybe they like to see big strong guys at their feet!:p

Another thing I noticed is girls that come from a "stable" background tend to go for unstable guys and girls from an "unstable" background go for stable guys.

Meanwhile, behind closed doors life is hell. I think the hardest is when the a-hole in question also refuses to admit that they are anything other than perfect. You start doubting yourself and wondering if you really are just completely unappreciative. Eventually they break you down so much that you begin to think that you deserve to be called <insert insult of choice here>, and that you are (and always have been) such a beast that you deserve the punishment that is being dealt to you.

Building up the courage to leave when you so firmly believe you are lower than pigpoo is borderline miraculous.

On the other hand I had a bf who was fat, broke and arrogant. Nobody got what I saw in him but they just didnt see what a gem of a person he was behind all the masks....
Turns out I was wrong. He was just fat, broke and arrogant... But at the time I truly believed I saw something that nobody else did. :p

I think what alot of men forget about women is that women are not like men, not of all them want the hottest oke around with tons of money. Women are not like men in as much as they are not visually stimulated like men, meaning a good sense of humour and great personality most of the time will out do good looks and money with a kuk personality. Sure you get women who want money and good looks but they are normally not keepers.

Also if you think you need money and need to be hot to avoid being called a loser then i think your problem may start there as to why she chose him over you.

If they have been together for ages and broken up over and over, she is probably with him out of comfort..

Same reason you don't change jobs without something else better and SECURED..

Wish I could answer that for you. I remember years ago I had an ex, there was just something about him, he didn't have good grades, or good looks, not much of a personality and always got into trouble with the law. I think it was just the way he looked at me. All my friends thought I was crazy and my parents forbid me even being friends with him. But like I said, there was something about him. I am glad though that my relationship with him only lasted for a couple of months.

ahhh ... you are absolutely correct BUT ... what makes him a loser is the fact that when her mum was very ill he did not bother to support her in this time of need, everything he did do was to try and get her out of the house and just go out, when she really needed to be with her mum ... she too has health issues, and in those plenty years of having dated he did not bother researching and helping her out ... so he IS a loser

the point i was trying to get across is this guy has nothing ... at all ... i tried hard to think what positive trait if any does the guy have ... and what possibly could be so attractive about him ... oh ya he has perfect eyesight ... i wear contact lenses ... damn he is better than me!!! ... :(

personality ... im a friendly person like that, very ... the fact that we hit things off from the start and dated twice in one day on first meeting, lunch and she suggested supper was assurance that i had a personality to hold a conversation with her, without her ever knowing i had money ... she is in CT i was in JHB for work ...
