Losing Sync !!! Anyone else?

Hi there,

I've had this strange issue with my line: I lose sync every 1min49sec (exactly). I'm connected to the Linden Exchange. Has anyone else had similar issues?

This won't help, but ja, the only time i lose sync is if the phone gets picked up or put down, no matter how many pots filters i put in i lose sync.

Have you tried maybe plugging out your phone/s and then seeing if you lose sync?

Try a different router, I've found the Billion, and even Cisco routers to be inferior when it comes to handling noise on the line.

I use a Linksys WAG54G now, and happiness.

did you just recently upgrade to 4mb line? well if so maybe your line stats are not good enough to handle the speed which would make it lose sync alot with any small interference

I don't even use the ADSL filters....

My filters are all in order. I saw a few telkom vans around the corner from my place so it must've been them fiddling since i haven't been disconnected since. I just find it ridiculous! One second it works and you do something important and it decides to time out. AWESOME! Seems to be fine now

I lost sync yesterday at about 14:30 and it only came back now. WTF??

the sync light on my modem goes off intermittently too, and for no apparant reason!
netgear router in use too...
