they vodashop/vodacre guys the last time i heard a replacement could cost in the region of R125 +- BUT check with your closest store.

If it's pre-pay you should be able to do a "SIM Swap" by buying a new pre-pay SIM pack and calling 100 from the new SIM.

****ed if I know, I got my modem back from a friend (with sim) and put it in my bag the next morning, when I got to work the sim was gone...

Anyhow, problem sorted. I did something I've been wanting to do anyway since my data usage on my phone has shot through the roof since I got my HTC Magic.

I canned my 3g contract, added a data bundle to my voice contract and just got another sim linked to the same data bundle for my 3g modem.
