i lost my prepaid sim which i use for internet,i know i have to do a sim swap but 111 operators say they can't process a sim swap without a sim number,i realy don't know the sim number as i mentioned that i normally used the sim exclusively for internet in a moderm and not for voice calls,all i can provide is the device 's imei number to make a sim swap

It might be easier for you to purchase a new starter pack in this case. If you knew the phone number it would have been easier.

is it a vodacom sim? then you can go to a vodacom outlet with the sim certificate that have the pin and puk and they can swop the number for you.

sorry guyz,vodacom data has actually solved this issue for me,he managed to retrieve the sim number after i sent him the moderm's imei number,i can be able to make a sim swap now

@Kgabogk: when you get your replacement SIM, send *111*501# to retrieve your own number and then register on vodacom4me to be able to check your balances, retrieve your PUK number, etc. online.
