Who's going to this 5fm speed dating event? I'm thinking of going but Im not sure... Anybody done speed dating?
I think there will be much less guys than girls though.
 
Is that the event where they have that singles party, and you need to win entry either by sending a photo or doing something else?

I went last year and still waiting for the results!!!
very disappointed...met some very nice girls but 5FM didn't bother checking the papers and matches, so if you go and meet someone you like, ask for a number

that..sucks! Thats the whole point of the speed dating to meet someone you like that likes you back. Now you still have to go through the whole...was he interested scenario.

And since its leap year Im probably to ask for the number :erm: !
 
All they cared about was getting into the Guinness World Records and made us wait for 2 hours!

Registering for Love
Sucks is simple and easy. SMS your name, surname, age and city you
live in to 33345 at a cost of R1.50 and 5FM will notify you if you
qualify to play the ‘lock and key’ game where singletons can possibly
find their future Mr or Ms Right.

Think I'll skip. Tsume report back on how it was ;)
 
Oh and I heard there's going to be kissing booths...that just sounds like oral herpes waiting to happen! :sick:

One of the news stories on 5fm yesterday was about how long you have to wait to kiss someone after they've eaten something you're allergic to without you having a reaction, and a call for people to give advance warning to those they plan to kiss on Vday of their allergies, so that person can avoid foods you're allergic to :p

I'll register tomorrow night...may have plans to go out and party on that night, but will wait for confirmation from friend(s) tomorrow.
