Any supplements you can recommend ?

You do get iron pills. Makes good slingshot ammo too.

I found that it did not really work all that well as a supplement. Rather stick to green beans and spinach :-)

Eat some meat.

You need to eat meat with vitamin C(fruit or something with vitamin c in it), it isn't just a matter of eating iron and that is where people go wrong buying iron tablets. It won't be absorbed without certain elements helping it along.

Vitamin C enhanced meat could be a huge seller :D

Many iron supplements can cause problems with your digestive workings (i.e. you cant poop ...), and can leave a horrible metallic taste in the mouth. Try supplement with diet as much as is possible/feasible (dark chocolate is a nice afternoon snack if you are feeling tired). Dose up on Vit A too (as this helps 'move' the iron from storage for processing).

Thanks for the advice guys!

Just ask at a pharmacy. Iron supplements isn't exactly rocket science. I'd make a concerted effort to boost beef intake too though.
