LTE E5186 Router

Hi all,

Is it possible to use this (LTE-A) router, with a fibre line?

It's last port is marked LAN/WAN so I am wondering if it will be possible to use it instead of getting a new router.

Thus, a partial answer I will give.

Personally I do not use Huawei. The manual states port 4 can be used.
Try it. Connect to port 4, look in configuration where you can change the authentication.

In general.
When a router allow for WAN connections, you need to configure the authentication somewhere in the config pages.
{Unless some other device does this for you already, this I guess will not be likely in your case.}

Yes, it is possible to use this router, the guy that came to setup my fibre helped me with it and it is running perfectly There is a config section on the routers settings to update, I think it was the pop3 settings, with username and password.
