Check phone settings for voice communication. Most likely it is GSM-only (CS service) and LTE doesn't support GSM voice. Try other options, I don't know how it is named, it could be IP, "packet" or PS. Expect battery will lasts shorter.There must be some teething problems though. My phone doesn't physically ring when someone calls it when LTE is activated. When LTE is not activated (on the phone) it rings just fine.

The Telkom Mobile network does not support circuit switched fall-back for voice services, however, if you have an LTE capable device that works on the 2300MHz frequency band you can enjoy faster LTE speeds on data.
