Was pleasantly surprised to notice 3 bars of LTE signal while sitting in my office in Benoni this morning.

It's about time! :D

There must be some teething problems though. My phone doesn't physically ring when someone calls it when LTE is activated. When LTE is not activated (on the phone) it rings just fine.

Check phone settings for voice communication. Most likely it is GSM-only (CS service) and LTE doesn't support GSM voice. Try other options, I don't know how it is named, it could be IP, "packet" or PS. Expect battery will lasts shorter.

OP wrote that LTE is activated (I read is registering to LTE network), it means it is already provisioned.

Must've just been teething issues, because now the phone rings just fine.
