Hi guys, I'm struggling with my Telkom USB Huawei E3276 LTE to have internet access.
Everytime I switch on my Windows 7 PC and try connecting with my LTE I connect but it says "No Internet Access" with a yellow exclamation! on the task bar icon.
Funny thing is I can do banking and surf the web but certain web sites and online gaming I can then not do.
To get it to work I have to either pull the LTE dongle out and re-insert it, or I have to disable the device and re-enable it a few times then reconnect before getting full access again.
I have searched the web and realised there are hundreds others that have the same problem so I tried various things that worked for some but to no avail like:
1) Switched off my Kaspersky Antivirus
2) Disable IPv6
3) Allocate an IP address
4) Run diagnosis
5) Enable - disable connection and devices
6) Update Windows 7
7) Try different USB ports v2, v3
8) etc etc etc

PS. I have a Telkom 3G as well and that works perfectly.

Any advise would be so welcome thanks ;-)

I do not understand how you are trying to connect to Internet. Dialing the dialup connection (USB modem)? Open network connections folder. Note which network connection is active. It seems you have two ways to dial Internet (modem and LAN interface) and one conection is already active (as you can surf WEB).

Issue of limited accessibilty and gaming. Forget all above (1-7), it looks like a TM network problem (as 3G is working). Take a note of server assigned IP address for the connection and post which one allows full access and which one do not.

Hi sajunky,
I either use the 3G or the LTE USB modem to connect. Only one not both at the same time.
When I plug the LTE modem in all I do then is click on "Connect". I use the preset configs as set by Telkom to connect.

I am not at home right now but will take note of server assigned IP address and will post them soon. Thx

Yip, I understand not two modems a time, had no problem with that.
On which object do you click. Is it Mobile Partner (or Telkom Mobile application), or the WEB page?

So it is HiLink.
With HiLink you have additional problem. There is a mini-firewall on the device, is reported to block some outgoing ports. It could explain problem with games. More information in other threads on this forum, search for HiLink.

Assigned IP address is another issue, just make note of two first sections of the address. It will identify gateway router on Telkom Mobile network.

Do you think the problem lies with the Telkom Mobile network then?
