Came into the office and have a red light on the Huawei B315 router. Reboot changed nothing. Seeing chatter on Twitter that people all over the country are affected.

Any here?

Telkom's web site is down (www.telkom.co.za), and their email service (telkomsa.net) is down. Looks like someone stole their porridge in the night...

Yeah I love how they never notify us that there is a problem! We have to come here and all see if it is or check social media lol but then again their own network is down too and they can't do ****...how do they call technicians??? That's right they use Vodacom sims hahaha

I've moved my office over to an Afrihost MTN sim, but those 750mb are not going to last long :(

Pretoria Region - Was having problems with LTE last night, speeds were down from what they normally were.

Pings were also very high for local servers, upwards of 50 - 60ms

Total BS that 3G is not allowed when LTE fails. They should flick a switch and allow sims to down scale.

Wouldn't have helped you in this case - I'm on 3G on two separate devices, and both of them have absolutely no connection (Cape Town - Claremont and Epping area or anywhere in between while I was driving to work).
