Hi,

I am the lucky new owner of a Nexus 4 handset from the US. Many of you will know that the Nexus 4 does indeed have built in LTE capabilities which can be activated. I managed to activate the LTE capabilities (http://techcrunch.com/2012/11/23/how-to-enable-4g-lte-on-the-google-nexus-4/ ) but cant seem to get the Vodacom LTE APN settings to save. After completing the APN settings page, I click on save but it doesnt seem to save and the APN list remains bare.

Any advice?

1. Vodacom will not offer technical support on the Nexus 4 as it was not launched on the network.
2. Double check that the Nexus 4 supports LTE in GSM 1800mhz band. If it does not then its LTE is not compatible with Vodacom
3. You must be provisioned for LTE by Vodacom, and this is currently not possible on Top Up or Prepaid...only normal contracts.

Customer Care can provision you for LTE on 082111

Did anyone follow up on this and see if they can get cellc LTE on the Nexus 4?
