LTE Performance in Cape Town?

Hi Guys,

I have been thinking about getting Telkom LTE, but have been a bit concerned with some of the negative comments regarding performance. Most of the guys that are having speed issues seem to be in the Gauteng area.

I was hoping that there was someone in the Southern Suburbs (Cape Town) that can give me an idea of the performance of Telkom LTE?

Tested and used in Claremont.
Only had superb coverage from the device this is using the Huawei E5372.

Considering ditching my ADSL line, as I find I keep switching over to LTE to get decent performance.

I am in the Northern Suburbs and we dont have LTE coverage on the map but still get around 30mbps down and about 1.5 up. Guy opposite me has a external antenna and gets around 60 down and 7 up.

Got Telkom unlimited lte on Friday, getting 50mbps down, so far it seems very very good. I'm considering getting rid of my adsl as I see no need for it anymore.
