MTN Lazola, can you please explain why my mtn uncapped lite gives me speeds of less than 400 KB/s but when I use my mtn topup contract sim card with the same modem, on the same pc, under the same conditions, I get 1MB/s+. This is not because I'm capped. I have never been capped and probably never will be since I can barely browse never mind download anything.

Thank you very much for your question and the answer to it its called fair data usage policy:

As from 01 Feb 2012, MTN will enhance the fair use policy so customers can enjoy higher speeds after reaching the fair use cap. This means that once they have used 3GB or 10GB of internet, their connection speed will be limited to up to 256kbps for MTN Uncapped Lite and 384kbps for MTN Uncapped Internet Pro for the remainder of their billing month

You can visit us for more on this link:http://www.mtn.co.za/MTNServices/broadband/mtnbroadband/Pages/MTNBroadbandHigh.aspx

Thank you for choosing MTN

Hi Lazola

Avanstaden09 has made mention that he's not being capped, so your answer is invalid to the point that you check the validity of his argument- ask him to pm you the number in question and use your PPS system to check the details, then respond.

Done! but His problem has been already resolved.

Hi Lazola, I've had a problem with my data since October where my bundle was incorrectly removed and despite my best efforts to resolve the matter, all Mtn reps have either avoided or dismissed my query despite me proving that I am correct. The last ref no. I got was 94626296. Please contact me over pm once you've done your investigations.
