Lucid Gravity deliveries start
Lucid announced the Gravity SUV in November of 2023, with orders finally opening in November this year. Then, production started in early December, and a few weeks later it's now time for the first deliveries to take place.
Lucid has revealed that this past weekend, the first Gravity customers received their vehicles in a special ceremony, with them departing the factory as a convoy to the applause of the factory workers, as you can see in the video below.

Lucid delivers record number of cars in Q4 2024, 70% more throughout 2024 than in 2023
Today, Lucid has announced that it's produced 3,386 vehicles and delivered 3,099 in the last quarter of 2024 (October to December).
For the full year 2024, the company made 9,029 vehicles and delivered 10,241. Lucid will host a conference call to reveal its fourth quarter 2024 financial results on February 25.
To bring some context to these numbers, note that Q4 2024 saw Lucid deliver a record number of vehicles - in fact, the company has been consistently breaking its delivery record for the fourth quarter in a row.

Lucid is an electric vehicle startup that quickly gathered attention with its luxury EVs with a taste of speed. The Lucid Air is its hero model - a sedan with a sleek design, great power and extravagant interior, turning it into one of the most capable options in its segment.
The Lucid Air Grand Touring we have at our disposal today is the mid-range version in the Air’s lineup. It boasts 819 hp through an AWD system with two electric motors. However, the main concern of this article is range and it comes thanks to the huge 112 kWh battery.
A dedicated review is coming soon, but let’s focus on how long the Lucid Air Grand Touring can go, before revealing how well it does it. We drove our test routes, doing the same track both ways at constant speeds at the same place as with every other car we test. The ambient temperature while testing the Lucid Air Grand Touring was 13°C - slight colder than ideal.
At our lowest testing speed of 60 km/h the Lucid Air Grand Touring shines with fine efficiency for its size, but more importantly the giant battery accounts for 1,000 km of range on a single charge. Of course, that number will never be reached in the real world as driving at 60 km/h for nearly 17 hours is not something that happens to anyone.

Lucid Motors has rolled out its biggest discounts yet on its 2025 Lucid Air electric sedans, with potential savings climbing to over €27,900 on select models.
The headline-grabbing offer centers on the 2025 Lucid Air Grand Touring model. This month, customers can see a price reduction of up to €28,400 for this version of the luxury electric car. This serious sum is composed of several incentives: a €18,000 "Air Credit," a €6,800 EV Credit, a €1,800 "On-Site bonus," and an additional €1,800 "conquest bonus" for those switching from other brands. For those considering a lease on the Grand Touring with these combined offers, Lucid asks for €6,145 at signing.
The savings aren't limited to just the top-tier Grand Touring. The company has also extended discounts to other models in the Air lineup. The 2025 Lucid Air Touring can be had with up to €23,900 in discounts, and the entry-level 2025 Lucid Air Pure model sees its price potentially lowered by up to €19,400.
These June discounts are a big step up from May's promotions, where the Grand Touring had a €14,000 discount, and the Touring and Pure models were advertised with €18,500 and €16,200 off, respectively. Clearly, Lucid is sweetening the pot as summer gets underway.

Lucid Air finally gets Android Auto
There has been a recurring theme in conversations among Lucid Air owners. While the all-electric sedan has an impressive range and futuristic design, the absence of Android Auto has been a persistent annoyance for many. This week, Lucid Motors finally addressed one of its most requested features, rolling out Android Auto support to all Air vehicles via an over-the-air software update.
The arrival of the popular smartphone integration, bundled in Lucid OS 2.7.0, means drivers can now project their Android apps, from navigation to music, directly onto the Air’s expansive 34-inch Glass Cockpit display. According to Dr. Jean-Philippe Gauthier, Lucid’s head of software engineering, the demand for Android Auto was significant, making this update a key priority for the company.
For users with devices running Android 11 or higher, the connection is wireless, offering seamless integration. Those with older phones running Android 9.0 or higher will need to connect via a USB cable.
The software update brings a welcome feature to current owners, but Lucid is also looking ahead to its next big act: the Gravity SUV. The company has confirmed that its first electric SUV will also support both wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
