Lucky Points Table: EPL 2015/16

United had the most clear chances which wasn't converted... Rooney's Bicycle Kick, Schweinstiger's missed header, Mata's flash wide, Memphis attempt that went wide. United had 9 shots 1 on target and 1 own goal by Tottenham..
Tottenham had 2 clear chances which Eriksen's miss... and I think it was Dembele's shot straight at Romero

Stoke vs Pool - Yeah sure Johnson should have buried that attempt on goal - would that count as Liverpool being lucky or Stoke being unlucky? Pool had 8 shots and 3 on goal...

Chelsea vs Swansea - was Swansea unlucky that it was a draw? Chelsea had 11 shots, 3 on target...

Newcastle vs Southampton - was Southampton unlucky not to win considering the Japanese defender had a free header that was "feebly" saved?

Arsenal were they unlucky cos of Cech? I'll scratch this one down to inside job by Chelsea :p

@mickeyd, please lock this thread.

Thanks

I think this is a good idea, however, I would limit it to luck regarding a bad ref decision that influenced the game. It is still subjective but a lot less so.
So an offside goal at 0-0 and the game ends 1-0.
incorrect penalty calls either way.
Problem is that you could probably only do this for select teams, who always has someone on this board watching.

I can see the thread ending in acrimony, so ja, rather it get locked.

Edit: Maybe this could work if each of the top supported teams here (liv, mun, che, ars, mci, (are any of the others seriously represented here on MyBB) nominated someone to form part of a panel that decides.

Pity, though, as the idea is good. But it would be difficult to maintain as we only see the games as broadcast and miss many other games.

Hence the table would not be a true reflection of "luck"!
