Ludicrous statements

And yet you get the very same conservative "crowd" of the ANC who will still believe anything that Zuma/ANC will say.

These people are caught for SUCKERS.

I'm curious as to why black Christians aren't enraged by his comments. He's used the name of God and Jesus many times before as well to make political statements. At the very least it is blasphemous, yet I rarely hear any prominent black leaders condemn this. I'm not religious, but I think it's outrageous the way the ANC is trying to manipulate people into voting for them by claiming to know the mind of God.

I guess Christians that vote ANC has just decided that Zuma > Jesus *shrugs*

I don't see the racial connection:confused:

President Jacob Zuma has come under fire for saying that people who opt to vote for opposition parties choose what he termed "hell", the SABC reported on Saturday.

Maybe we should ask those starving, murdered and dying under ANC rule what hell really is. You should heat up your gravy Mr Zuma, it's becoming cold. Grab yourself a stiff glass of $2000 cognac while you're in the kitchen won't you, it might take the edge off of the hell the ANC truly commands under your leadership.

Seems folks have forgotten these:

“God expects us to rule this country because we are the only organisation which was blessed by pastors when it was formed. It is even blessed in Heaven. That is why we will rule until Jesus comes back. We should not allow anyone to govern our city (Cape Town) when we are ruling the country.” -2008
“the ANC will rule South Africa until Jesus comes back” -2004
“we believe it (the ANC) will be in power forever until the son of man comes back” -2007
In an interview in March 2006 Zuma said he was “like Christ”, that the media and his detractors wanted to nail him to the cross, like Jesus; and that certain newspapers had sought to “crucify him”.

Really? Last time I checked their voter base was mostly black. Maybe I'm mistaken. Most white Christians have complained about his statements. So my question stands. Thanks for playing though.

I believe the ANC are feeling the heat building up. When the pressure cooker starts warming up, you gonna say anything to climb out. Could it be that the DA are making significant ground forward? Naaaah, wishful thinking gets you nowhere, but my vote is going somewhere ---> that's not the ANC :D.

Lol. Sounds like old national party.

Indeed. This is from Time magazine, 28 April 1958:
Prime Minister Johannes Strijdom, the bull-necked zealot who is the leader of South Africa's Nationalist Party, cried that it was "God's will" that the Nationalists get five more years of control over the destinies of the Union of South Africa's 14 million people. The devil was obviously working with the opposition United Party, for, said Strijdom, they wanted to give votes to nonwhites, and had devised a "devilish, satanic" plan to reorganize the South African Senate.
