Lumia Denim Update

Do you think its acceptable to make us wait another whole month for the update? The update was released worldwide early December, which is when the operators started marketing it. That's like marketing Hot Cross Buns but only starting to bake them in July.

I want to be patient, and be happy end of March, but I've been waiting so long for the update and checking 'Phone Update' everyday and Availability in Africa link (which the operator and Lumia South Africa keep pointing me to without answering the question directly) that its going to be a total anti-climax when it does.

What's gonna happen with Windows Phone 10 when it's rolled out. Nice Christmas 2015/Easter 2016 present from MTN/Vodacom/Cell C?
 
@DevonMilton: I can't be sure, really. What I do know is that, somewhere along the lines, MS has to work with the operators for something or the other... Not sure what they have to do, and why each operator releases at different times. But yeah, I'm just learning to be patient.

The difference is you can use the Lumia Camera rather than the Nokia Camera and, if you've changed your regional settings, you can use Hey Cortana. Lumia without Cortana is ok, but with...so much better.

Cortana annoyed me when searching as it was changing between cortana and my browser.

AFAIK, I had Lumia Camera (same purple icon) before the update? Or was it renamed?

Yep and there is a new version out version 5 or something with more features and better load times, etc that is not available to phones that does not have Denim installed.

I think I recall an update to it in the store after the update? There was an improvement but nothing I'd call major :)

Here's the list I grabbed of WCentral:

At last. Just updated to the genuine Denim on the 1520.

Read on Neowin that the Dev Preview app should be disabled. Did that, but still no update. Uninstalled Dev Preview, rebooted, and tried again. Bingo.
 
Just updated to Denim on the 1520 on VC. Looks interesting.
 
No update here on my Lumia 630 on TM. How do I flash it with Denim?
 
I see Cortona is there but requires setting changes etc. Otherwise looks good with faster IE browser.
