Luno vs VALR Fees

I know this is an old threat. But seeing as more than a year has passed, how to you guys measure these options now?

Basically:
- on-chain sends should be about the same, it goes to the network, not the exchange
- VALR's negative maker fee is better than Luno's 0% maker fee
- Luno's taker fees are lower than VALR's taker fees
- VALR's "simple buy/sell" is cheaper than Luno's
- Luno's deposits & withdrawals are cheaper than VALR's

Aside from fees:
- VALR supports more coins
- Luno has a vast advantage in trade volume for every coin it supports

Good day fellow Cryptonites,

Any using VALR exchange since launching on 11 June with BTC-ZAR?

Looking at VALR fees, they are super aggressive:

Maker Fees
Luno : 0%
VARL : -0.1% (Rebate)

Taker Fees
Luno : 1%(Max fee for low volume)
VARL : 0.2% (Max fee regardless of volume)

Side note: I did a deposit from my FNB to their FNB, and it was almost instant. Like the GUI as well.

hol long will card payments wont be available on varl

Forever can't buy crypto on a credit card anymore...

Seems fine?
