I doubt that E-coli will come to an end, MNET will probably sell it to E-TV or SABC, or perhaps MNET will just use the 2 years to increase their subscriber base...I say they should have a separate DSTV channel for all the soapies [maybe there already is one - I don't have DSTV] - MNET could buy all the other soapies up & put them on a single channel...........
 
Well at least Isidingo is on SABC3 and not open time.. *phew* :)

Well I have to admit that when they are visiting it does look very, um (thinks) - catchy :p

Anyway :o - HOW CAN THEY DO THIS - I mean isn't it up to Mnet what they do? Poor SABC just wants to get more viewers - as if the TV licences aren't enough :mad:
 
AFAIK MNET's original Open Time licence had specific conditions requiring that it come to an end at some point, so it's not anything new - it's just finally happening...who knows the full story behind this & can post a quote out of MNET's Open Time Broadcasting Licence...?

Isi-stinko...it's that other soapie that keeps me changing channels during ad-breaks on MNET...how I hate all soapies...
