I got a MBP today and I have just used the same US iTunes store account I have been using on all my other devices.

Will there any region problems with the apps if I buy them via the US store instead of the SA store?
I would prefer to just keep using my same account since I have already bought a crapload of apps on it.

Not a single one. :D

I did notice that Numbers is R159 odd in the SA store and $19.99 in the US store :(

Damn exchange rate is biting us in the ass

True that... Listen, don't be afraid to buy from the SA Store if the deal is better. The app will work just fine. You'll just need to switch between stores for updates when they happen.

yea I used to do that. I still have a sa account kicking around somewhere but updating the apps becaome such a pain in the arse I ended up buying the ones I couldnt live without again in the us store.

I'm going to get office from Makro tomorrow anyway so I'll skip numbers for now.

Yep. Slowly replaced all the apps on my machine and devices with the US Store ones as well.

Not really - $19.99 is about R184.50 at todays exchange rate.

It was a little higher yesterday, about R190. That still R25 you know!
Also counting the extra R1.25 I'm paying on the dollar for the voucher makes it alot worse.

I really need to get a US bank account somehow.

Where do you guys buy gift cards for the US store? I used to buy from bestbuy but they stopped selling digital cards :(
