Mac & cheese...

If you used processed cheese it's going to be super easy, barely an inconvenience.

The good stuff

Who eats that disgusting schit?
Judging by the amount of shelf space it has, most people. It has a certain salt that helps sauce stay creamy vs normal cheeses. I've seen several YouTube Food channels use a mix of traditional cheese and processed cheese to make their *ultimate" mac and cheese .

Admittedly I hadn't tried it for myself yet.

How's the compare to the Green Box we get locally? I think it's Knorr
No idea. It would be great if it's he same stuff. The kids are down to their last box of the Kraft.

I had the Knorr one back when I was in highschool and it was crap though I am the sort of person that can taste the plastic in a cup of Nespresso coffee.

You should try making the fresh kind. Boil pasta in 1.5 cups milk and 0.5 water on medium heat. When the pasta add cheese and let it melt. (Fresh cheese clumps up when it starts to cool down, that's why have to use processed or mic processed with fresh cheese)

On a burger it's actually one of the top cheeses to use. Normal cheddar after melting and cooling will become almost rubbery whereas the american cheese still remains creamy. Oh and make a toasted cheese one day with normal cheese but also spreading a layer of Melrose on the bread. Mind blowing cheesy-ness.

Thanks for the recipe but I've been making my own for decades now. Sometime the kids just want the Kraft - blame Youtube and TV I guess.

Sad thing is I'm drunk as a skunk so I'll never be able to replicate this...
Of course you will. Step 1, the most important step, is to get drunk again. Step 2 is throw together a concoction that resembles mac and cheese and marvel at your culinary skills.

That's the best mac and cheese, its a lot of steps, but it can't be beaten.

That looks a lot like what i made minus the bacon & breadcrumbs. I even came close on the herbs & spices, I used robertsons mixed herbs which has rosemary & thyme, salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, garlic, i reached for the nutmeg but it was finished, i also used smoked paprika.
