MAC or PC?

I think I'll stick to good old (bad old) Windows PC's...

Same, I've never been able to get anything done on a MAC... I can't stand the UI layout (espcially that damn top menu) and the over user-friendly interaction. Vista scares me a bit bacuse it's starting to lean in that direction too... where it's so user friendly that it doesn't tell you what it's doing

but the iTunes (which I hate) or built in codec is far better.
I love iTunes - on a Mac but not on a pc - always have even even before I ever considered getting an iPod.
Same, I've never been able to get anything done on a MAC...
I'm the opposite - I'm so much more productive on a mac - perhaps its familiarity with the OS or the stability and not having to wonder what's going to go wrong next but I get more done. :)

Different strokes for different folks. :D

I've never worked on a mac so can't comment. But very interesting feedback.

 N7.1 (version upgrade)

LOL, that the way I'm feeling about it as well. Like some people I know has Linux installed (dual boot) on their PC's...whats the point if you're not going to use it?

Microsoft might suck, but I still love them:eek:

Both Dell and Apple have been suffering from bad batteries.

Now that they've finally chopped off the tail from the mighty mouse I think its time for me to get one. The mb/mbp's have built in alt-click functionality but its missing from my older powerbook - not that I find myself needing it but I can see how it would perplex windozers ;)

I do my work exclusively on a Mac and my gaming exclusively on a PC.
Just got one of these and its sooo much better then I thought it would ever be.

What can I say - got it delivered today. Its my first apple mouse in a long time and I'm impressed.

I used the wired one the other day... It was all round good (except I couldn't use the right click for some reason:confused: ).

But what I really really LOVED is the 360 degree scroll ball... now if they only made them in black, a little more ergonomically shaped and fully PC compatible...

Then I would definitely get one :D

Right click needs to be enabled in the system prefs. By default its set to primary button. Perhaps Apple is being delusional and is still trying to convince ppl they dont really need a second mouse button??

Being left handed (but ambi-mousdres) I appreciate the simple form. The ball is kinda odd but I'm rapidly beginning to appreciate it.

Small problem - my kid thinks its a toy and keeps wandering off with it - the downside to bluetooth mouses?

LOL, chain that sucker to the desk (point defeated?)

Yeah the whole 1 click thing is Steve Jobs's idea... he's persistant that you never need another click... (was listening to him on a web cast about it last year). to me 5 clicks is better than 2, as long as I don't need to install random drivers that make windows even more unstable :p

I mean I'm trying to maximise functionality with minimal effort, and to me that means not having to move the mouse to another menu to complete a function.

I'm so used to ctrl-clicking in place of a second mouse button I dont even notice it anymore but perhaps that will change with the new mouse. I believe the newer laptops add the right click functionality (without an actual right mouse button) so they are learning :)

I wonder if anyone makes a bluetooth directional device finder?

They should build clappers into bluetooth devices, when you clap they beep... I always lose my headset and my portable phone.

I dunno how I would cope with a one-buttoned mouse. Even two is too few. On my home PC I have an 8-buttoned mouse, with the buttons programmed for each major application I use. Makes doing things by mouse a pleasure.

In fairness the mighty mouse has 4 buttons and an absoultely fabulouse scroll ball... rivaled only by the new logitech revolution scroller.
