Mac OS X 10.4.10 Update released

Yeah, I was thinking about that too. It's only available on contract at the moment. But I cannot imagine that lasting too long - not too many people are going to want to switch contracts to a specific phone. And then not all the US networks cover all of the US...

I'm guessing the Cingular deal is one of those limited initial exclusivity deals.

Also had the 2nd restart...

Not having any wireless problems using 2 x Linksys WRT54 routers - both running WPA -must be an airport thing. Believe they also had problems at or tambo airport this morning with delays due to snow - maybe related? ;)

Whoooa so my FCP Studio 2.0 arrived. However I couldn't install it! I had to upgrade to Mac OsX 10.4.9 which on dial-up was SLOOOW. Anyhow then I still couldn't install because I had to upgrade my QuickTime installation, as if the newer FCP Studio couldn't do THAT for me. Anyway thaaat sucked but now that I upgraded the new FCP is a bomb. The SmoothCam FxPlug and the new Color Application are really spiffy, although SmoothCam is slow on a quad core Mac Pro. Still ... :).

BTW a great source of Mac OSX and Mac software is Toolfarm.com. They ship without issues to South Africa. No credit card verification BS, even for Final Cut Studio 2. :)

It looks like there is a popping noise from the speakers every time you run the device on batt and there is also a problem with some wireless access points. They are having the issues on the Netgear and the Mac Airport. That is if you are running WPA or WEP. If you only have mac access lists then you are fine.

Its all aver the apple forums so I just hope they fix it.
