Mac OSX Yosemite on AMD

Hello. So I'm tired of windows, but to poor for R35 000 Apple.

If I buy Yosemite will I be able to install it on a AMD pc?

The CPU support SSE3 etc

You cannot buy Mac os x really. It's supplied with a new Mac or downloaded from the Mac app store. It's free.
If you want to run it on a PC, i.e. A non-apple device it's a hack.
Google "hackintosh"
Not all hardware will work as there often aren't drivers. Apple only supports a small set of hardware.
If you really want to use one look for second hand machines. There are plenty around. Also, you can get new machines like the Mac mini for R8000.

Hey thanks for the reply, well familiar with the term hackintosh.

I run OSX Lion on a intel laptop.

But want to know if somebody tried installing the new OSX on a AMD before, because I got mixed responses on the internet leaning towards the it can't be done option
