Macbook intel core 2 duo parts

Does anybody know of an outlet in Joburg where I could buy parts for a 2009 Macbook intel core 2 duo? I'm looking for RAM at the moment and was told by my IT team at work that I should just toss the machine because parts for those machines are no longer made.

It one of these with DDR3, or an older one? In any case what's the A-number - that would positively ID it.

I expect the same: DDR2 memory, must be MAC compatible.
Without A-number caan't help.
